Root Canals and Implant
My NHS dentists in Bristol that I have used and still use for over 60 years recommended Tom Friend for work above and beyond what they do. Namely re-doing root canals and crowns that were originally done over 20 years ago.
In early 2024 Tom - who is a young but experienced dentist and who has a great kindly but professional manner - replaced these as my gums had receded and I had a chronic infection. All has been perfect since then.
In late 2024 a separate issue - another old crown where the underlying tooth had broken off needed attention. I went for an implant.
Tom Friend between January and June 2025 sorted this perfectly. I almost fell asleep in the chair despite extensive work going on!
His advice on other dental matters has been spot on.
I thoroughly recommend Wellsway and will have no hesitation to use them again when the need arises.

A professional, friendly and fair priced dental practices in Bath. Had a complex root canal done for my daughter. The dentist Dr Tom Friend was excellent.

It was a while ago when I had 2 teeth Root Canal treatments done with Mr. Tom Friend. Excellent professional. Highly recommending for anyone this place. Especially Mr. Friend please at any time! No pain during treatment only slight ache after but only with my first teeth, as it was a little more complicated one. The second was completely pain free even recovery. Thank you Mr. Friend for your great work!

Very impressed with the service. I broke a tooth yesterday afternoon, phoned at 16.15 and was given an appointment for 12.15 today. By 12.45 I was on my way home with a perfectly repaired tooth, the old metal filling replaced with a much better white one, no pain or discomfort at all. Highly recommended!

Popped in to have my upper right 2nd molar examined by Martin Bateman. From initial consultation, through the two subsequent follow up Root Canal procedures he was simply brilliant (as was his assistant). So exceptional was his level of care during the final lengthy procedure that I nearly drifted off to sleep! Simply brilliant dental practitioners and I will (so long as I live in the SW) never go anywhere else.
