Tom qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 2013. Since then he has developed a wide range of experience working in both private practices and hospital settings.
He has a special interest in root canal treatment and has successfully passed the end-point examination Membership in Endodontics (Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh). He has also completed a Masters degree in Endodontics at Queen Mary University of London. Tom accepts referrals from dentists for patients needing root canal treatment.
Tom has a very empathetic approach to patients, particularly those who are apprehensive about dental treatment and spends the time needed to overcome any fears. He is qualified to provide sedation for nervous patients if required.
Tom provides Invisalign cosmetic teeth straightening and takes great pride in transforming a patient’s smile and in sharing their pleasure with the results.

Born in England and raised in Hong Kong, Kiran moved back to the UK in his teens. After graduating in 2013 and completing his training year in Weymouth, Kiran has worked in dental practices in Gloucester, Bridgwater and Penzance. He has also worked abroad in Australia, spending two years working in private practices in Perth and Melbourne.
Kiran is a general dentist, interested in all aspects of dental treatment. His main aims are to maintain patients’ teeth and oral health, giving them long lasting function and aesthetics, with the least possible intervention. His varied life and professional experiences has helped develop his capacity to communicate effectively with his patients and put them at ease. He is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry.
Outside work, Kiran has many interests. Skiing is his biggest passion, but he also plays hockey, football and cricket, surfs and generally enjoys being outdoors. He also likes to ‘tinker’, sometimes with computers and electrical items, sometimes plants and vegetables but more commonly with his collection of bicycles. He is also a keen cook and spends a lot of time fermenting and foraging.

Martin Bateman joined the Practice following Philip Shoebridge’s retirement in June 2019.
Martin is an extremely competent and compassionate dentist, having graduated from Liverpool University in 2013, before gaining experience working in dental practices in Tetbury and Bradford on Avon.
Martin has completed a post-graduate certificate in contemporary restorative and aesthetic dentistry, as well as Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties diploma. He is passionate about helping patients to improve their oral health, whilst providing a compassionate approach to meeting each patient’s individual needs.
Martin has also gained valuable experience working at Great Western Hospital, in particular by treating nervous patients, allowing him to utilise the skills obtained in a hospital setting to provide his patients with the highest level of care.
Outside of work, Martin enjoys spending time with his young family as well as being in the countryside surrounding Bath and Bradford on Avon, where he lives, and enjoys running.

Rachael is an experienced private dentist who has worked in a number of clinics locally, and her passion for focusing on long-term dental health is at the centre of her patient care. She graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2011 and has a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Birmingham in Advanced General Dental Practice, for which she achieved a distinction.
Rachael has a breadth of knowledge and experience, particularly with anxious patients, and has additional skills in acupuncture and sedation. She has also gained experience in cosmetic procedures and has additional skills in orthodontic aligners, facial aesthetics treatments and rehabilitation. Her Postgraduate Diploma widened her experience further and led to a teaching role at the University of Bristol as a Clinical lecturer in Restorative dentistry, which she held until recently. She holds a position in a periodontal specialist practice providing treatment for conditions affecting the gums and bone that support teeth, and is also is embarking on an MSc in Periodontics along with accreditation with the College of Dentistry.
Outside of work, Rachael has a young family and so has an informal role as social secretary and taxi service! They spend time up hills and on beaches at the weekends wherever possible. She enjoys being part of a local netball team and loves the occasional trip to the theatre.

Anna joined the practice as a Dental Therapist in January 2015 and currently has clinics here on Tuesdays, Thursdays and every other Monday.
Anna graduated from Cardiff University in 2011 with a DipHE in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. She enjoys keeping up-to-date with best practice and learning techniques to help make her patients more comfortable, such as acupuncture for gag reflex.
In her spare time, Anna enjoys listening to live music, keeping fit, baking and crafts. Anna has recently returned from a trip to India with DHFI (Dental Hygienists & Therapists for India), a charity set up to provide oral health education and treatment for underprivileged children in rural communities.

Becky qualified from the University of Cardiff in 2015 with a first-class honours degree in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy.
Becky has worked with a range of patients both in private practice and within the NHS special care dental service treating varying dental needs and levels of anxiety. Becky has a passion for providing a positive dental experience for all, through a patient centred approach to care.
When not at work Becky is busy with her young family, dog and ongoing house renovations!

Debbie joined the team in 2006 as a dental hygienist. Her role as a hygienist is to provide scaling and polishing of the teeth and to give oral hygiene advice to help maintain healthy gums.
Debbie works at the Practice on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Laura joined the Wellsway Dental Practice team as Practice Manager in April 2021.
As a qualified dental nurse, Laura has extensive patient-facing experience, joining us from a private dental practice in Bristol, where she worked for 18 years. Laura previously held the position of Lead Dental Nurse where her responsibilities included acting as a mentor to trainee dental nurses, as well as supporting the overall management of the practice. Laura is a qualified first-aider and Infection Prevention and Control Lead.
In addition to Laura’s dental-related qualifications, she has also gained a Diploma in holistic reflexology and Certificate in British Sign Language Level 1.

Leanne currently works part-time as Dental Nurse to David Morley. She qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2001 and joined the Practice in 2011.
Leanne has a friendly and gentle manner, and has nursed for over 22 years. She has nursing experience with complex implants and orthodontic cases and is also trained to work in Reception. Leanne is a Denplan Champion, and as such is available to help answer patients’ queries and complete Denplan registration forms.

Alicia gained her Certificate for National Dental Nursing back in 2012 from Bristol Dental Hospital and joined the Wellsway Dental Practice team in September 2018.
Alongside her nursing, she enjoys teaching street dance three times per week, and travels around the country with her students competing in various competitions.
Alicia is currently on maternity leave.

Fiona is a Dental Nurse, working primarily with our team of hygienists. She joined the Practice in January 2015 and her kind and gentle manner is a great asset to the team.

Sally gained her national certificate in Dental Nursing in 2009 at Bristol Dental Hospital, and began her nursing career at Wellsway Dental Practice in July 2007.

Evette joined the Wellsway Dental Team in July 2018. She works part-time, nursing for two days per week. She is a qualified dental nurse and first worked at Wellsway Dental Practice 17 years ago, when she was David Lindridge’s nurse.
Alisia joined the Wellsway team in October 2021 as a full-time trainee Dental Nurse. She is currently preparing for her dental nurse exams in the spring and is looking forward to gaining her NEBDN qualification.
Alongside her nursing, Alisa enjoys travelling and socialising with her friends. She also has qualifications in hair dressing and beauty therapy and was a gymnast in her younger years.
Niki joined the Wellsway Team as a Trainee Dental Nurse, after having gained experience in a Bristol-based dental practice.
Alongside her nursing, Niki enjoys reading, cooking, crochet & cross stitch. She also likes spending time in the garden in the summer and visiting her family.
Rosie started working at Wellsway in December 2003. She is a dedicated member of the team and since starting she has gained several qualifications to ensure she provides the best patient care.
She has completed an Apprenticeship in Customer Service, and an NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service. In 2008 she gained a Level 3 BTEC Advanced Award in Dental Reception. Rosie has also gained a Technical Certificate in Business and Administration Level 3 and a qualification in Pearson EDI level 3 NVQ in Management (QCF). Most recently, Rosie has received her Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management from the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Jo joined our Reception team in November 2021.
Karen joined us in October 2018 as a Receptionist. She works two days a week (Mondays & Thursdays).
